Most Brutal Game of Thrones Season 8 Scene Fans Never Going to Forgive
Let's get this straight: Game of Thrones has plenty of such scenes, but this one irks fans up to these days.
Season 8 is arguably the worst nightmare for the majority of Game of Thrones fans, with many agreeing that the writers failed to properly finalize the iconic series, ruining pretty much every character instead.
People are still not over how Daenerys went "mad" in the season 8 finale, and the "justification" for her madness also does not sit well with them, even after all these years.
In the fourth episode of season 8, Daenerys' close friend and trusted advisor, Missandei, gets killed at the order of Cersei who never listens to Tyrion and only lets Missandei to say her last words before having her head chopped off. Daenerys' friend chose one word: dracarys, which translates to dragon fire. Basically, her last words to Daenerys (who had to watch the entire process) were a call to vengeance.

Do fans buy it as a proper reason for Daenerys to go mad and take thousands of innocent lives? Absolutely not.
"Season 8 had many questionable decisions but if there's one i will NEVER forgive them for, is killing missandei (WHO HAD BEEN A SLAVE) in chains and powerless, just to "justify" Dany's madness. They're not seeing heaven for that," Twitter user Targ_Nation argued.
According to fans, Missandei's death was a stupid decision from every point of view — even from Cersei's.
"And it honestly makes no sense from Cersei's point. If I had captured my enemy's best friend I would not kill her so quickly," Twitter user kanwarghuman said.
Missandei's killing was one of the turning point for Daenerys, with the scene showing her eyes basically filling with rage, and even Tyrion's hopeless face made it clear that he understood Daenerys was not going to listen to the voice of reason from that point.
We all know how it ended. After all — spoiler alert, we guess — Daenerys was killed by Jon Snow after her madness was simply no longer justifiable. The Game of Thrones finale has been blasted by thousands of fans, with people even launching petitions for the showrunners to reshoot it and do justice to the characters and the story. However, it never worked.
Game of Thrones ended in 2019 after eight successful years on HBO. Currently, its prequel House of the Dragon is honoring the legacy of the HBO hit, with its second season set to start filming in early 2023.
