'Moon Knight' Writer Reveals What Marc Spector Was Up To During The Blip
We never got to know the extent to which Marc Spector's Moon Knight is connected to big events in the MCU like Thanos' snap that prompted the disintergation of half of all life in the universe.
It turns out that Moon Knight was among those who were lucky (or not so much) to survive The Blip after the events of 'Avengers: Endgame'.
'Moon Knight' head writer Jeremy Slater, speaking with The Direct, shared some details regarding what was Marc Spector up to during the tough five years when the MCU public had to deal with the aftermath of The Blip.
Slater compared Spector to Hawkeye 's Ronin, suggesting that Moon Knight was probably up to slaying street criminals and hunting down the bad guys.
"The criminal underworld was running rampant during the Blip time, I assume Moon Knight was keeping very busy. But it was all being sort of done in the shadows, and he was sort of taking out a lot of threats that never surfaced or saw the light of day," Slater told The Direct.
Slater's confession ended up actually disappointing some Moon Knight fans, who were hoping that the TV series would focus on Marc actually fighting criminals and being a detective, not on mental health and Egyptian mythology.
Some people want a Ronin and Moon Knight crossover now – all thanks to Slater's comparison.
The first season of 'Moon Knight' wrapped on May 4, with the finale offering a bunch of cliffhangers that left many fans believing that the story of Marc Spector and Steven Grant is far from over – so it could be too early to mourn the missed opportunities of Moon Knight fighting street crime on our screens.
