'Moon Knight', 'Ms. Marvel' Or Neither? Fans Decide on Best MCU Live-Action Show
With Marvel entering the world of the small screen in 2021, fans now have plenty of shows to decide whether the entrance was successful enough.
Starting from 2021 when 'WandaVision' kicked off Marvel's small screen endeavor, the MCU has arrived at a point where it boasts six short series in its portfolio. Aside from 'WandaVision', there are 'Falcon and the Winter Soldier', 'Loki ', 'Moon Knight ', 'Hawkeye ', and the most recent project, 'Ms. Marvel'.
Several shows from the list have already landed a handful of Emmy nominations, and all six differ in genre, pace, characters, and storylines, so when fans want to decide on the best one, it's a tough choice.
For instance, a lot of people are freshly excited about 'Ms. Marvel', with its finale premiering on Wednesday and placing the show among the MCU's highest-rated shows on Rotten Tomatoes: it has 98% on the Tomatometer and 81% of the average audience score.
While many people are quick to anoint 'Ms. Marvel' as MCU's top-tier show, others beg to differ and accuse the show of being "woke" and "political".
Among other candidates for the best show is 'Moon Knight', which landed 8 Emmy nominations this year. Despite a new wave of hate towards the show, the story of Marc Spector and Steven Grant is still loved by fans – and many of them are still hoping for a season 2 announcement. Another hit is 'Loki', with many fans placing it on their top 3 MCU shows.
'Hawkeye' and 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' seem to enjoy less fan love because many people did not seem to click with the stories. Like 'Ms. Marvel', 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' also received a slew of accusations of being way too "political".
The next Marvel project to hit small screens is 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law', due to premiere on August 17. Having already faced backlash over its questionable VFX, the show might have to face a tough crowd from the very beginning.
