Congratulations to the new proud father!

Summary:

  • Young Sheldon is a CBS sitcom, the prequel to The Big Bang Theory.
  • The show follows the life of Sheldon Cooper's family in early 90s Texas.
  • Montana Jordan, who plays Sheldon's older brother Georgie, is about to have his first child in 2024.

There aren't many actors who are willing to completely immerse themselves in the roles they are given. However, every other instance of this happening gets a lot of reaction from the public. While some actors are praised for making very questionable health choices in order to embody the role, others are ridiculed for something as innocuous as an accent.

Either way, this should be a personal decision for each actor as to how they prepare for an upcoming project. However, there is the flip side of the coin: sometimes the role can have an impact on the actor's personal life, and that is much harder to change.

Montana Jordan, known to all TV viewers for his performance as Young Sheldon's George Jr. Cooper, is no stranger to this concept. Like the character he portrays, the young actor is now preparing to become a father.

Of course, the circumstances of this event are very different from the show. Fortunately, the happy new parents are in a long-term relationship and were not put in a difficult situation by the news of the pregnancy, like the on-screen couple Georgie and Mandy.

The news was confirmed by the picture posted on the Instagram account of Jenna, Montana's girlfriend, with a caption announcing the new baby's arrival.

Montana's character Georgie is about to go through a very similar life experience on screen, as he and Mandy, portrayed by Emily Osment, are about to get married and become parents. The only difference is that while the actor's real-life family looks blissfully happy, his character's love story is bound to end in divorce.

Luckily for Jordan, Young Sheldon's season 7 would be the last to air. Although viewers were devastated by the news of their favorite sitcom's finale, the freedom from filming will likely allow the young dad to spend more time with his family in private, without having to rush to the set.

To see what else Young Sheldon season 7 has in store for viewers, and how the show will wrap up the Cooper family storyline, be sure to tune in to CBS on February 15, 2024 to catch the premiere.
