Is there a chance we can see Amy in the new spinoff, please?

Recently, HBO Max has announced that they're working on a second spinoff of the hit CBS show, and Chuck Lorre, the creator of the original series, is once again in charge.

This new project comes on the heels of the successful spin off, Young Sheldon, which is currently on its sixth season on CBS.

Unfortunately, we don't have any details about the plot of the new show just yet, but Mayim Bialik who portrayed Amy Farrah Fowler in the original sitcom shared some information.

Mayim Bialik revealed that she is uncertain whether she will appear in the new show of this universe.

In an interview with Francesca Amiker from E! News, Bialik confessed that she doesn't know if she'll take part in the project.

She added that she received the news just like everyone else and that she's not aware about the details.

Bialik also revealed that the cast was actively texting each other, and she had even contacted her agent, but he didn't have any information either.

Therefore, it seems that everyone will have to stay tuned to find out what will happen with the new spinoff show.

Fans don't lose hope to see old characters on screen again, speculating upon potential storylines of the show.

One theory is that Penny, Leonard, and their child move to Nebraska to be closer to Penny's family, where Leonard gets a job at the University of Nebraska.

The show could bring back Penny's family members and introduce Leonard's family members, including a sister who is a medical researcher.

Another theory involves Raj and Howard getting jobs at some kind of a space start-up near Pasadena, where Raj meets a new woman who happens to be the sister of Denise, Stewart's girlfriend.

This would create a new gang consisting of Howard, Bernadette, Raj, the new girl, Stuart, and Denise.

Even though it's unclear if we will see Mayim Bialik in the new spin-off, let's be optimistic and hope the show will not disappoint The Big Bang Theory fans — just like Young Sheldon hasn't.
