Marvel is Heading Straight Into a Pitfall It Set For Itself, Fans Say
With all the new characters and storylines, one could think that MCU is on the verge of a beautiful new era. However, not everyone is as optimistic.
Amid the rumors that Agatha: Coven of Chaos will finally introduce Hulkling into the MCU, frustration keeps growing among those fans who believe that the cinematic universe took the wrong direction.
Reluctant to get too excited about rumors of Miles Gutierrez-Riley allegedly cast for the role of Hulkling, fans argue that Marvel is burying itself.
"Marvel has so much material to go but they keep leaning into much newer characters that, sorry but, don't do well even in comics. They need to relax with this stuff. Everything will getting muddled & start to decline faster in quality. It already started. Build stories," Twitter user CoachMallett said.
While some people genuinely can't wait for Hulkling to join MCU, others argue that he is a "weak" character who won't matter for the story. Besides, fans are having hard time trying to understand why would Hulkling appear in Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
Love & Thunder Had One Great Thing, But Ruined it Just Like Everything Else
In the comics, Hulkling is a boyfriend of Wiccan (Billy), the son of Wanda and Vision. So far, Billy is a kid in MCU, and there has been no hints at time jumps in Coven of Chaos.
Marvel is still to confirm the rumors about the alleged casting or even the fact that Hulkling will make an appearance in Agatha: Coven of Chaos. The premiere date for the evil witch spinoff is also yet to be announced, with rumors claiming that Coven of Chaos release has been postponed for 2024.
