Marvel Fans Are Disappointed With The Creative Team Behind Disney+ 'Daredevil'
Netflix's Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox, will finally get a proper introduction to the MCU, as a new Disney+ series is officially in development. So why are fans a little unhappy with the news of who will bring Matt Murdock's story to the small screens?
Netflix 's TV deal with Marvel spawned many hugely successful series: 'Daredevil ', 'The Punisher' and 'Jessica Jones ' quickly gained cult status with Marvel fans eager to see more dramatic, bloody and less family-friendly adventures of their favorite heroes. But the Netflixverse came to a crushing end when Disney terminated its agreement with the streaming service, dooming beloved characters to oblivion. At least that's what fans thought at the time, but with the recent events of Phase 4, it looks like Feige intends to bring these characters back to the MCU.
So, the good guys win and Cox's Daredevil gets his own prestigious series on Disney+? Not at all, some loyal fans on Reddit think. The main problem with the upcoming 'Daredevil' show is the creative team behind it. No, there's nothing wrong with Matt Corman and Chris Ord ('Covert Affairs') but the lack of the original creative power behind Netflix's 'Daredevil' worries fans.
Fans are understandably worried about the future of The Devil of Hell's Kitchen, fearing that Disney and its new writing team will downplay the violence of the original three-season series, turning Murdock into just another boring masked hero.
