Mandalorian Fans Are Sick And Tired Of This One Tune
Is it really this important, or does someone in production just love it a bit too much?
The Mandalorian is currently airing on Disney Plus and is set to end on April 19, 2023. No sad news for the fans here: it is already confirmed to be renewed for season 4.
Even with the ratings going lower than they were in previous seasons, it doesn't seem to affect the future of The Mandalorian for now.
Moreover, the next season is already in development, so there should be no long pauses between the two.
There is no spiking controversy around the show, and no critically low reviews that could somehow endanger its reputation, however, there is one little detail that starts to bug viewers more and more with every recent episode.
The fans are starting to question… producers' music choices.
"Anytime Din kills someone – they blast that like single note. Anytime he appears in a scene for the first time – they blast the tune," Redditor My-Cousin-Bobby said, explaining how painful it becomes hearing that one note for approximately 8 times in the course of 2 minutes during a fight.
The tune in question is indeed part of The Mandalorian theme song. Although one would argue the music is very fitting to the show and adds to the atmosphere, fans just agree about it (well, that one particular tune out of it) being overused and straight-up annoying at this point.
It might've been hilarious to hear those whistles every time a ship was blown up during the asteroid field battle, but the older the trick gets, the less fun it is to watch.
Since it was not an issue in previous seasons, it really looks like a choice of someone in the production team specifically for this one.
Whether the tune would have some significance to a storyline later or it was just a poor decision on a team's end, we will have to see it later, as the season ends.
