Lost: What Main Stars Are Doing Now, 13 Years After The Show Ended
It has been 19 years since the launch of a show that has changed the world of television forever.
In September 2004, one of the most mysterious series of the golden age of television began – it was Lost.
The joint project of JJ Abrams and Damon Lindelof was largely inspired by Twin Peaks, lasted six seasons and ended in May 2010.
The project glorified many actors, but what are they doing now?
Evangeline Lilly
The role of Kate Austen brought popularity to the actress, whom the producers called to audition after noticing her in Smallville.
After the series ended, Lilly was invited to play Tauriel in The Hobbit. Later, the actress became Wasp in the MCU movies.
Josh Holloway
The role of Sawyer was one of the last to be cast: dozens of actors auditioned for it. Josh captivated the director by breaking his chair after a dramatic reading of his monologue.
At the end of the series, he played a small role in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, but his career did not go any further. The movies Paranoia, Sabotage and the series Colony – none of them became as popular as Lost.
Matthew Fox
The actor played the role of Jack Shephard and gained an impressive army of fans. However, he was originally considered for the role of Sawyer.
The producers planned to kill off Jack after the first season, but decided not to do it due to the character's popularity. After the series he had small roles in the movies We Are Marshall, Vantage Point, Bone Tomahawk and Extinction.
Jorge Garcia
The actor played Hugo Reyes, who was called Hurley on the show. He was the first actor to be cast in Lost and one of the few survivors.
After the show ended, Garcia appeared in a season of Hawaii Five-0 and was invited to appear in small roles in other shows and movies like Once Upon a Time, The Ridiculous 6 and The Wedding Ringer.
Naveen Andrews
In the series, the actor played Sayid Jarrah and became one of the survivors. After filming ended, he got a role in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland and played a supporting role in the movie Diana.
He can also took part in the series Sense8 and Instinct.
Emilie de Ravin
Emilie played Claire Littleton, who flew on a plane pregnant and gave birth to her son Aaron, one of the survivors, right on the island.
After the series ended, she was invited to play the role of Belle in Once Upon a Time, had small roles in the movie The Chameleon and the TV series Americana.
One of her most prominent roles was in the movie Remember Me with Robert Pattinson.
