Loki Season 2: Leaked Plot Points to Major Changes in Store
(Possibly fake) Loki season 2 plot outline is currently making waves on Twitter, leaving fans reeling with how boring it actually sounds.
It has been reported on Reddit that the plot for the second season of Loki has been leaked. According to the mods, RPK posted the plot on MSS discord, giving some credence to the legitimacy of the plot description.
The plot reportedly reveals that Kate Dickie will play the main villain, an older version of Sylvie attempting to rectify her wrongs. She is said to be utilizing rogue TVA agents to erase the new timelines that emerged after the death of He Who Remains.
Some have expressed skepticism about the plot, feeling that it sounds way too boring and questioning the decision to introduce a new villain after Kang served as the primary antagonist in the first season – and did it quite brilliantly, too.
" It's kind of weird how it would end with Kang as a threat in the first season but have a completely new villain in season 2 and make Kang a secondary character/threat? Idk, hopefully it's fake," one of the Loki fans suggested on Reddit.
However, others have pointed out that with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania set to release soon, it would be redundant for Kang to be the main villain in both projects. Additionally, the multiple versions of Kang present an opportunity for interesting storytelling and could make for a more exciting lead-up to facing the alpha version of the character.
Regardless of the validity of the leak, fans will have to wait and see how the plot unfolds in the upcoming season. Loki Season 2 will arrive on Disney+ in Summer 2023, as confirmed by Kevin Feige at San Diego Comic-Con, but first we'll get to see more of Kang as the MCU 's newest Big Bad in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, premiering February 17, 2023.
