Lily Wachowski Praises New Daniels’ Film ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’
'The Matrix' trilogy co-director and co-writer Lily Wachowski praised a new bonkers A24 production ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ that shares many similarities with the original 'The Matrix' films.
New film by directing duo known as Daniels centers on a woman forced to meet many versions of herself while navigating a Multiverse, in futile attempt to save the world from falling apart. The mix of martial arts and multiverse travel immediately brings to mind Wachowski films, so the praise from one of 'The Matrix ' creators must really mean a lot to indie directors. Lily commends the film on combating nihilism and hopelessness with some kung-fu action.
The film stars legendary Hong Kong actress Michelle Yeoh, known for her impeccable action skills in movies like Oscar winning ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ and recent Marvel blockbuster ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’. Jamie Lee Curtis and Jenny Slate co-star, proving that a lot of Hollywood darlings were in on a wild ride proposed by the directors. Film is currently boasting an almost perfect 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
