The actor, known and loved by both movies and games' fans, died from natural causes at age 60 on March 17.

Destiny 2 fans honored the actor Lance Reddick, who passed away on March 17. He had been the voice of Commander Zavala since 2014, and the character was one of the few in the series whose voice hadn't changed over the years.

In addition to playing Zavala, Reddick often interacted with fans and played Destiny himself. Some hugged the character, some saluted, and some knelt to pay their respects.

Reddick had played Commander Zavala in both Destiny games. He provided voice and motion capture for one of the most important characters in the game's history.

Commander Zavala is a constant presence in one of the main social hubs in the Destiny games, so players saw him regularly.

Lance himself was a huge fan of the Destiny games and a favorite among players, interacting with them on Twitter. The developers of Destiny 2 Bungie also released a statement regarding Reddick's death.

They noted the actor's dedication to the cause, his kindness, and his love for the gaming community.

No one knows what will happen to Commander Zavala now that Lance Reddick is no longer with us.

In the gaming industry, Lance is known not only for Destiny, but also for the Horizon series, where he played Sylens. The actor also reprised his role as Charon from the John Wick movies in Payday 2.

With such a wide range of roles in the industry, Lance Reddick will forever remain in the history of gaming culture.

The gaming community has a reputation for being quite toxic, but these situations remind us that gaming is a hobby that brings together thousands of people around the world and helps even the most lonely people make friends.

Players look out for each other in difficult situations, and the touching behavior of Destiny 2 players is nothing short of respectful.

Lance has also starred in the TV series Fringe, Corporate, Bosch and the movies Great Expectations, Witness to the Mob and Don't Say a Word.

On March 13, the world premiere of John Wick 4 took place, in which the actor returned to the role of the concierge Charon.
