Kristen Stewart Brings Bella Swan Back in a New Vampire Posh Horror

Kristen Stewart may have moved on after her $5 billion saga Twilight, but her vampire past keeps coming back to her. The news has recently broken that the actress has officially signed up for one of the leading roles in Panos Cosmatos’ insanely bold project Flesh of the Gods. Stewart will pair with Oscar Isaac who also got cast for the main role.

The crew is set to start the production later this year and the first steamy plot details are already in. According to Variety, Flesh of the Gods will take place in “glittering ’80s L.A.” with the plot following a married couple of vampires who seek more of entertainment by leaving their sumptuous skyscraper apartment and driving straight to the very heart of the city’s nightlife.

Their daily habit once completely changes the turn of events when the couple meets “a mysterious and enigmatic figure known as Nameless and her hard-partying cabal”, and then both characters make an entrance to a previously unfamiliar world of “hedonism, thrills and violence”.

According to director Panos Cosmatos, the upcoming movie will be some kind of homage to the city of Los Angeles where the never-sleeping energetic atmosphere may evoke a weird mix of feelings bordering on glowing fantasy and total nightmare.

Calling the film “propulsive and hypnotic”, Coasmatos promises that Flesh of the Gods will “take you on a hot rod joy ride deep into the glittering heart of hell”. The future movie’s producer Adam McKay, in his turn, teases a significant role of “popular culture, fashion, music and film.”

Flesh of the Gods is an exciting movie to wait for due to quite many reasons, but especially because it will finally make it up to Kristen Stewart’s previous vampire role in Twilight. In the worldwide famous saga, Stewart’s character Bella starts embracing her vampire identity only in the concluding part of the franchise, Breaking Dawn - Part 2, while in the upcoming film the actress’ character will be introduced in her supernatural form from the very beginning.

Given that Bella’s transformation into a vampire wasn’t that full and detailed in the saga, the chances are that we will finally get to see a mature and almighty vampire played by Kristen Stewart, but this time in another cinematic universe.
