Costner was born on January 18, 1955 in Lynwood, California. Today, the man is 69 years old. He started his acting career at the age of 26 with the movie Malibu Hot Summer. However, the actor later revealed that he felt uncomfortable with the movie because of how sexy it was.

The actor's big break came in 1985 when the western Silverado premiered, featuring Costner as a cowboy named Jack. It was then that everyone realized how talented he was and that the genre suited him perfectly. But Costner's first leading role was in the legendary film The Untouchables, where he played Eliot Ness.

Later the movies with the actor were releasing one after another, all of them mostly western-ish, but The Bodyguard was probably the most memorable of them all. The iconic film featured the actor as a former Secret Service agent named Frank Farmer, who had to become a bodyguard of a famous singer. The chemistry between him and Whitney Houston was something unbelievable.

One of the standout movies of Costner is also Dances with Wolves, for which he won Oscars for best picture and director. However, for many of us Costner is mostly known now for his part in the iconic Yellowstone series.
