Kardashian Matriarch Forbade Her Partner from Starring in Yellowstone
Apparently, Corey Gamble could have been a part of the hit Western show, but Kris Jenner was too jealous.
The Yellowstone TV series made quite a splash upon its release, going so far as to create a whole new franchise with several spin-offs. Although, the main series is now in a rather poor state and will end after the upcoming release of the second half of season 5.
Of course, such a huge scale has given way to a large number of colorful characters who have appeared in many series of the franchise over the years. Even some well-known actors, such as Billy Bob Thornton, Tom Hanks, and Robert Patrick, made cameos.
However, it appears that Yellowstone may have featured another celebrity appearance, albeit not from a renowned actor.
In the premiere episode of The Kardashians season 4, Corey Gamble, the boyfriend of family matriarch Kris Jenner, made a sudden comment that he would have been a star of Taylor Sheridan 's hit TV series by now if it hadn’t been for Kris.
This obviously caused some confusion, and Kim followed up by asking if it was true, as turning down such an opportunity was a surprising choice, to say the least.
Kris replied that she had forbidden Gamble to accept the role on Yellowstone because she was afraid that he would have a romantic relationship there, making it clear that it was out of pure jealousy (via EW).
The details of the character Gamble was apparently supposed to play, as well as when the situation took place (as the two have been a couple since 2014, while the series debuted in 2018), have not been revealed.
Perhaps that's for the best, because even though we don't know how big Gamble's role would have been, casting non-professionals in a dramatic TV series is a questionable decision at best, as their poor acting could detract from the overall impression of the show.
While Kim Kardashian's recent appearance on American Horror Story season 12 wasn't as bad as many fans expected, it wasn't exactly brilliant either, proving once again that perhaps socialites shouldn't be involved in serious dramatic projects.
The official release date for Yellowstone season 5 part 2 has not yet been announced.
