How I Met Your Mother may have been over for almost a decade, but that doesn't mean the fans are over it!

Have you ever fangirled (or fanboyed) so hard that you made your favorite book, movie, or show a part of your big life event?

not (yet), we are here to give you a perfect example!

One Filipino couple went viral a couple of months ago for their HIMYM- and Friends-inspired engagement photoshoot. Gelyn and Franz didn't want to have boring, run-of-the-mill pictures, so they found the perfect way to spice things up!

Little did the couple know that this shoot would lead to them having the most memorable wedding guest ever – Ted Mosby himself!

Josh Radnor, who played the iconic role on the show, didn't actually stop by the celebration, but he did record a heartfelt message to the couple that a wedding guest shared on their Facebook page. Have you met Ted?

In the video, Josh congratulated the happy newlyweds with a few HIMYM references. The actor began his video with "Well, kids" (famously alluding to how he was always telling the story to his kids on the show).

As if that wasn't more than enough, Radnor went on to "send a high-five through the phone." Honestly, it's like we are watching another episode of How I Met Your Mother!

Josh apologized for being "undressed" for a wedding (he was sporting a hoodie) and summed up the reason for recording his video by saying, "This is the story of how Franz and Gel got married." We got chills!

The couple tied the knot on May 1, and the actor hoped that their wedding was "legen–wait for it–dary" (with such a star guest how could it not be?) and wished for them to "have a wonderful life" together.

Frankly, the only thing that would make Josh's toast better would be if he cried during it (you know, carrying on Ted's wedding tradition to the fullest).

This is your sign to keep being a devoted fan, and maybe you will be just as lucky on your big day as Franz and Gelyn were on theirs! Now all we need to know is who organized it all and, most importantly, how.

We join Josh in wishing the married couple a lifetime of happiness and geekiness together!
