Josh Brolin Is Ready To Return As Thanos, And Here's How Marvel Could Bring Him Back
Josh Brolin's Thanos was a villain MCU desperately needed.
His charisma, power and insanely cool looks made him a beloved character and one of the greatest villains in blockbuster movies. It's no wonder that Brolin is willing to reprise his role in the future.
While appearing on Jess Cagle Show, Brolin expressed his fondness for the character, noting, however, that Marvel is not yet interested in bringing him back.
"I don't know where they're going with it, no. It's not that I don't have an interest in it. They have their own trajectory that they're worrying about and if they want me to do it, I would do it I'm sure, but I don't know what they're thinking," the actor said.
Thanos famously died in the 'Avengers: Endgame' finale, so how can he possibly return in future films? There is only one logical explanation – multiverse. Yep, Phase 4 is all about time-shifting, inter-dimensional travel and other interesting things made possible thanks to the multiverse concept.
Fans are already trying to think of a great way to bring the character back in action.
The appearance of some kind of Thanos variant is certainly a possibility. But don't expect him to play a major role in the future of MCU – Marvel moved on from Thanos, and his days of being a big bad guy are certainly over.
