Jim Parsons' Reaction To Johnny Galecki & Kaley Cuoco Dating? Priceless
Not unlike many long-running series, The Big Bang Theory had almost as much drama behind the scenes, as it did on the screen.
There were gossip, sudden decisions that shocked the rest of the cast (see), and even romance. And now we know about all of this, thanks to The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series, written by Jessica Radloff.
Speaking about romance – Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki eventually got into a relationship. According to Kaley Cuoco, she was attracted to Galecki from the very beginning, but at first he did not understand that he's being flirted with.
And when he did understand, he initially insisted on keeping their relationship secret. As Cuoco said:
"Johnny can get really in his head and want to hide, whereas I'm the direct opposite. I would have told everybody the next day at the table read. I would have announced it and said, We're together! But he was like, 'We can't tell anyone!' So we kept it quiet."
The showrunner Chuck Lorre caught the pair at least once, but he too kept silent about it. But eventually Cuoco decided to inform the rest of the cast, because she felt as if they were lying to their colleagues.

The reveal started with a phone call from Galecki to Parsons. And Parsons' reaction to the news has been priceless.
Cuoco remembered: "We call Jim on speaker, and Johnny says, 'I'm in love with Kaley', or 'I really want to be with Kaley', and Jim goes, 'Ah! Does she know?!'."
Of course she could not keep a straight face upon hearing that:
"I started laughing and yelled, 'Yes, I know! I'm here!' Jim thought Johnny was telling him that he liked me and was going to tell me that. It was the cutest reaction, like, 'Does she know?!'"
Parsons also confirmed for the book, that the phone call took place.

Sadly, the relationship between Cuoco and Galecki did not outlive the series, but when they eventually broke up, they did so on amicable terms, so whatever impact it had on their performance remained net positive.
