Jessica Alba’s Brand New Big Flop Is Blowing Up Netflix Global Top Now

Zack Snyder can now take a long breath as his Rebel Moon movies aren’t the most recent disappointment to arrive on Netflix. Keeping up with its weekly release schedule, the streaming giant welcomed another highly anticipated movie to its collection, yet it was very quick to prove itself a total fiasco.

Still, critical acclaim seemingly has no real meaning for Netflix viewers who are currently enjoying a brand new action thriller, Trigger Warning, that is holding a number one position on Netflix’s global top 10, according to the most recent data from FlixPatrol.

What Is Trigger Warning About?

Starring Jessica Alba in her first ever film since 2019, Trigger Warning follows Special Forces commando Parker who, in the midst of her mission overseas, gets a call from home and finds out that her father has passed away.

Convinced that his death was no accident, Parker comes back to her hometown and reaches out to her ex-boyfriend, who also happens to be a local sheriff, his short-tempered brother, and their father as she seeks answers to her questions while trying to run a bar she inherited after her father’s passing.

Having gone too far with her own investigation, Parker gets into bigger trouble when a violent gang operating in her hometown starts going after her.

Despite the movie’s success with Netflix viewers that brought it to the global top just within three days since the initial release, Trigger Warning still appears to have failed to make an impression on either critics or the audience.

To-date the film holds miserable scores on Rotten Tomatoes, only 25% and 16% from professionals and viewers respectively, with many crashing the movie for the actors’ poor performance, sometimes senseless dialogues and even bad directing.
