Jennifer Lawrence's Young Co-Star Was Terrified By Dirty Things He Had to Tell Her For a Role
Many people would’ve killed just to be seduced by Jennifer Lawrence, but her new student co-star was scared to death when he had to tell the actress he wanted her.
Tomorrow, a new comedy movie No Hard Feelings is released, starring Jennifer Lawrence, who needs no extra introduction, and her younger co-star Andrew Barth Feldman. Andrew is a Harvard student and a rising acting star which is kind of inevitable after you land a gig to play J-Law’s romantic interest… Of sorts.
For Feldman, getting the role was everything he could’ve wished for, but it was also unbelievably scary.
The young actor knew that his character was supposed to be involved with Lawrence throughout the entire movie, but he thought he’d have more time to get ready. Instead, he was thrown to the lioness right at the audition.
“One of the last things I did was a chemistry read with her, it was down to me and two other guys. And I was like, I’m going to have to look Jennifer Lawrence in the eyes today and say, ‘Let’s f*ck.’ That’s something that I have to do,” Andrew recalls.
While being on the receiving end of J-Laws seduction attempts is nothing to complain about, it was understandably terrifying for the 21-year-old actor. After all, this was stressful in two ways: both his role and his self-esteem were on the line!
Despite his fear, Feldman really impressed Jennifer Lawrence who later decided to personally reach out to her new co-star and inform him that he unfortunately couldn’t return to Harvard for the next semester as he was needed on the set.
Andrew was ecstatic as it was a massive breakthrough — and a chance to work with J-Law.
The two of them grew pretty close together over the course of filming, and Feldman praises the actress as both his big sister and a great mentor. Despite his initial awe while being around Lawrence, the young actor quickly found out that the actress was very chill and down-to-earth in person.
“I just expected [Jennifer] to have this glow around her, I guess, at all times… She and I, we both hate ice. We want to break it as quickly as possible. We just immediately were diving into getting to know each other and breaking down any walls that there were,” explained Andrew.
If you want to see some of their chemistry with your own life, No Hard Feelings hits the theaters tomorrow, June 23.
