Not the best look to greet all your favorites.

If there's one thing Jennifer Lawrence is known for, it's being clumsy, awkward, and very open about any and all encounters that result.

We all remember an unfortunate fall the actress took at the 2013 Academy Awards, but little did we know that was just the beginning of the whole decade of unfortunate mishaps and hilarious slips.

One of the less funny things happened to an actress right before she started filming Don't Look Up, an apocalyptic political satire black comedy film in which she starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, and a host of other extremely talented and popular Hollywood actors.

As if the stress of working under the pressure of COVID, strict rules, and extremely tight schedules were not enough, losing a tooth would be the last straw for anyone. But not for Jennifer Lawrence, who was unable to reach her dentist due to the restrictions and had to film everything with a gaping hole in her smile.

Of course, you wouldn't be able to see anything in the movie, as the CGI pros worked their magic to give Lawrence her usual appearance. But that still meant a whole lot of meeting and working with some of her favorite actors, all while awkwardly hiding part of her mouth.

The actress first opened up about the whole situation on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, but later reassured the Hot Ones YouTube show that it was the most embarrassing moment of the Don't Look Up shoot.

Even though it happened several years ago, the situation still seems to haunt the actress in interviews and fan questions, and rightly so: not many of us could handle the embarrassment with such grace. Sometimes we all need to take a lesson on laughing at ourselves from Jennifer Lawrence.

If you want to see Jennifer Lawrence in action in her latest comedy movie, No Hard Feelings, you can watch it exclusively in theaters starting June 23. Go get your tickets and keep an eye out for more news about the actress’ upcoming projects.
