Jennifer Lawrence Filled Half the Swear Jar Herself on The Hunger Games Set
If there is one actress in Hollywood who’s largely known to have a filthy mouth, it’s Jennifer Lawrence: it’s been confirmed by pretty much everyone she’s worked with.
Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most successful actresses of her generation, and the public loves her. She’s genuine, easy-going, and open… Perhaps, a bit too open, though. It’s no one’s secret that Lawrence enjoys swearing a lot, but according to her colleagues, she’s also achieved some insane KPI in this regard.
Upon realizing just how much Jennifer cusses, her co-stars and crew from The Hunger Games decided to try and help the actress with reducing the among of profanity that was coming out of her mouth. But they had no idea just how naive they were being: there was no way to prevent Jennifer Lawrence from swearing on the set.
“Jen has the filthiest mouth. It’s great but she’s so easy to wind up so some people set up a swear jar for her. It’s running and running, but it’s not stopped her,” shared one of Jennifer’s The Hunger Games co-stars.
Even after the rest of the crew put a “swear jar” on the set, it didn’t help. The idea was that one would have to spend money every time they used vulgar language, and that would force Lawrence to avoid cussing. What this ended up being was a robbery as by the end of the shoot, half the swear jar was filled by the young actress!
According to her colleagues, the actress spent hundreds of pounds this way, too.
While the fact that Jennifer literally curses more than the entire rest of the crew combined is hilarious, it’s also become one of the things her colleagues remembered her by.
Whatever interview you would pick, if her former co-star is asked about the actress’s language, they will always say she’s got the dirtiest mouth in Hollywood.
Even when they’re trying to praise her performance, this always comes out!
“[Jennifer’s] performances are intelligent and logical through what seems to be a natural intuition. She’s aloof and intelligent. Oh, and she’s got a filthy mouth,” stated Michael Fassbender, Lawrence’s co-star from X-Men.
While this is all fun and laughs, you should always keep this in mind. This article is a life hack of sorts: if you ever have JLaw coming over for dinner or whatnot, set up a swear jar at your place.
By the end of the night, you should be a few hundred pounds richer than you were before, which is always a nice bonus.
