It seems like Jennifer Lawrence is the rare actress who doesn’t hate the role that made her famous. In fact, Jennifer revealed she’d be happy to play Katniss again!

Typically, young actors grow up to hate the role that made them famous — or at least, start doing everything to distance themselves from their “origin” franchises.

The most popular examples are Daniel Radcliffe and Robert Pattinson whose careers were jump started by Harry Potter and Twilight, but the trend is pretty global.

This is not always this way, though, and Jennifer Lawrence is a prime example of it. Whether it’s because the actress was older or because already had experience prior to joining her big franchise, the actress decidedly doesn’t hate The Hunger Games — even though for her career, it was almost the same as Twilight for Pattinson.

In fact, Jennifer still really likes her “big thing” and even wants to return to playing Katniss Everdeen if the opportunity ever presents itself, as she recently revealed. When asked whether she’d like to rejoin The Hunger Games once again, the actress seemed genuinely excited about this idea.

“Oh my god, totally! If Katniss ever could ever come back into my life, 100%… My producing partner just clutched her heart,” exclaimed Lawrence.

Despite the fact that The Hunger Games movies starring Jennifer have been over for quite a few years by now, the franchise itself is alive and kicking. At the very least, we’re expecting a prequel series soon, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and it will tell the story of President Snow — the man Jennifer’s Katniss fought in the films.

This opens a new window of opportunities in more than one sense. First of all, there are a few ways of sneaking in a clever Jennifer Lawrence cameo to the new TV series.

It can’t be an obvious one, since her Katniss wasn’t even born back in those days, but it’s still a possibility. Second of all, the success or failure of the series will mean a lot for the future of the franchise.

If The Ballad of Songbirds and Snake does really well, the directions in which the future of The Hunger Games could be taken would be endless… And there definitely will be ways to involve Jennifer Lawrence in the process. After all, she’s become a world-famous actress since then, so it would be a win-win for both parties.
