Finding your sleepwalking wife standing on the edge of a cliff in the middle of the night sounds like something straight out of a horror movie, but that’s exactly what happened to Brad Pitt once.

Picture this: it’s the middle of the night, and you wake up from the sounds of your alarm going off. It’s dark outside, and your house on a cliff is filled with deafening noise. Your wife is nowhere near you, and you must venture out to find her while questioning what in the world is even going on. Slowly, you walk outside, and…

Alright, let’s pause it here, or we’ll spoil the finale for you.

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were a beautiful couple, and while they were together, they always had quite a few funny stories to share about each other. Pitt, for one, used to sometimes recount the various instances of his ex-wife sleepwalking — because apparently, Aniston has always been struggling with this issue.

During his appearance on Late Night with Conan O’Brien in 2004, Brad Pitt shared a few stories about his then-wife sleepwalking. They were pretty funny…at first.

“[When she would go into another room and shuffle through the drawers,] I just figured she’ll be back [when] she’ll get some stuff done. She once went on a five-minute dissertation on Tuesdays with Morrie or something like that in our contemporary society… I learned a lot,” the actor laughed.

In other cases, Aniston would suddenly demand that someone “bring on the young men in uniform.” It was all fun and games until one night, the actress’s sleepwalking made her then-husband go through a nightmare. Remember the scene we pictured to you in the beginning? Well, that was Brad Pitt’s experience then.

“The alarm was going off, and she had to negotiate herself through three or four rooms, and I found her standing outside… We were [living] on a cliff at that time, and it was…not good,” Pitt recalled.

The actor had to carefully scoop his wife from the edge of the cliff and get her back home safely, and we can’t imagine what he felt going through this experience. The entire scene just sounds like something straight out of a horror-thriller movie, and even actors are not prepared to face such things in real life. It’s terrifying!
