Jamie Dornan Defends Robert Pattinson's Batman, But Fans Disagree
"He's just rich boii," some fans are saying about Pattinson's take on Bruce Wayne.
'50 Shades of Grey' Jamie Dornan supported Robert Pattinson as Batman, saying that many people who did not think he was capable of the role were proved completely wrong.
Matt Reeves' 'The Batman' movie has already received stellar reviews from fans and critics alike, but many DC aficionados still don't like the performance of its main star. A lot of them felt that Pattinson couldn't handle the role of Gotham's vigilante even before seeing the movie itself, so the prejudice against the 'Twilight ' actor is still very much alive.
Looks like Jamie Dornan decided to address this situation. Speaking to Esquire, Jamie condemned the prejudice against his fellow actor.
"Prejudgment is such a disease. People prejudge people based on f--g anything, and it's very sad. Look at the reaction when Rob got cast as Batman. It was 90 percent negative. [Now] all the naysayers love what Rob has done with Batman," Dornan said.
It's great when movie professionals express support for each other, and many fans were happy to hear Dornan's take on the situation.
However, some fans found his defense of Pattinson's performance to be based on nothing.
It's understandable why some fans found Pattinson's Batman underwhelming, but the great reviews and pretty huge box office clearly show that they are in the minority.
