Jamie Campbell Bower Teases Some Chilling Vecna Action in 'Stranger Things 5'
Looks like the Hawkins gang angering Vecna did them no good.
Volume 2 of 'Stranger Things ' has left the Hawkins gang in a weird place. Despite having challenged Vecna, they did not manage to defeat him for good; moreover, the villainous version of Henry Creel appeared to have possessed Max's mind.
Still, the kids definitely wounded Vecna, even though he managed to escape the "battlefield". But, according to Jamie Campbell Bower who portrays the villain, they only made it worse for themselves.
Speaking with NME, Bower assured that Vecna will enter the fifth and final season of 'Stranger Things' even angrier than he was.
"He's pissed, he's properly vexed, I don't think he's slunk off licking his wounds in misery. He's rebuilding, and he's out for blood. It's like, you've really f**king pushed the buttons now, that classic Jason Voorhees thing – you've made a big mistake," the actor teased sinisterly.
It seems that the Vecna actor is explicitly hinting that the Upside Down villain will be stronger in season 5, threatening to wipe out Hawkins, and especially a bunch of kids who dared to challenge him. The season 4 finale has left us with a handful of casualties (among them Eddie Munson, one of breakout fan favorites, and Max, who is not technically dead but dangerously close to it), and it remains unclear just what Vecna has planned for the final chapter.
Given that the Hawkins gang did not manage to destroy him in his less alerted version, things might become real tough for them in season 5. The premiere date remains to be scheduled, but the writing is already underway.
