Waiting for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to hit the theaters next week? Well, you will spend a little less time in a theater than usual since the movie will only show one post-credits scene instead of the two previously leaked. But what a scene this will be!

Black Panther 2 will act as an opportunity to grief and to pay tribute to both the late Chadwick Boseman and his character T'Challa, the King of Wakanda and Black Panther, who according to the plot dies suddenly leaving all the characters shocked and inconsolable and Wakanda unprotected.

The MCU fans have been waiting for the continuation of the Black Panther story with restless hearts since Chadwick Boseman died from colorectal cancer in August 2020 two years after the release of Black Panther 1. Boseman's death shocked the MCU fans and the audience was uncertain about the fate of the franchise or if the creators would be able to pay tribute to the late actor in an acceptable way should the new installment of the franchise come out.

Based on Marvel producer Nate Moore's explanation of the post-credit scene, the creators coped with the task perfectly. Turns out, the creators chose to stick to only one credits scene because they didn't want to ruin the emotional coloring of the movie.

We all know that the majority of the credit scenes are aimed to entertain the audience and tease the future developments in the MCU. However, there was one time when it felt superfluous and the Marvel execs chose to avoid any post-credit scenes. Avengers: Endgame left many fans reeling from the loss of their favorite characters: Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow, so the movie ended with a tribute to these characters.

According to Nate Moore, the only credit scene in Black Panther 2 will serve the same purpose but has all the potential to be even more emotional. Major spoilers for the Black Panther credit scene follow, so stop reading now if you like to be surprised.

Based on leaks, the mid-credits scene will introduce T'Challa and Nakia's son who will reportedly become new Black Panther when he gets older. The legacy of Black Panther continues. What a beautiful tribute to the character!

How about that? Get your cry pillows ready, fans, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever could become a real emotional roller-coaster.
