When public interactions between two best friends dwindle to almost nothing, fans are bound to overthink the artist's words.

On October 8, GMM, a Thai company renowned for producing globally popular Boys Love series, released another batch of merchandise featuring their official branded BL couples. Official merchandise is actually quite important for the fans of Thai series.

Seeing actors paired together with their own unique brand and logo indicates a high likelihood that they will continue to secure roles and portray a romantic couple in future projects and fan meetings.

That said, fans were shocked to discover that this time, no merchandise was announced for the "OhmNanon" duo, a fan favorite. Ohm Pawat and Nanon Korapat, both highly regarded and popular GMM actors in their own right, made their BL debut together in the 2021 series "Bad Buddy. " They quickly won the hearts of thousands of fans worldwide, portraying two childhood rivals who later become secret lovers, Pat and Pran.

Following the success of "Bad Buddy," the "OhmNanon" pair created many memorable moments during fan meetings, securing a special place in fans' hearts and showing the potential to become incredibly popular in any future BL series, provided they continue to act together.

Fans began to speculate about the possible reasons behind GMM's decision to exclude the "OhmNanon" duo from the list of BL couples this time. While it's possible that merchandise was released only for couples currently promoting as such, there are also no products for Krist and Gawin (who star in "Be My Favorite Series") or Milk and Love (who star in "23.5 GL Series"). However, fans warmly welcomed the official branding of Winny and Satang, who appear as side characters in "My School President The Series."

Earlier this year, controversies arose concerning a public dispute between Ohm and Nanon. After the promotional activities for "Bad Buddy Series" concluded, interactions between the two actors—who have been good friends for years—noticeably dwindled to a minimum, leaving fans both upset and concerned.

On October 9, Nanon added more fuel to the fire by posting a cryptic tweet that led everyone to suspect it was referring to the ongoing conflict within the fandom.

Fans had mixed reactions to the actor's words: some think it's the end of Ohm and Nanon as BL couple and they might never see another show starring their favorite duo anymore. They share sweet messages mourning the friendship that once made everyone cry from overflowing feelings.

Other fans chose to wait for any official announcements or direct confirmation from the artists themselves, as they hope one day Ohm and Nanon will come back and once again will act together in another BL series or at least mend their public friendship.

These days, both Ohm and Nanon appear to be busy and content with their solo projects in other GMM series, with Nanon also releasing his own songs. However, they briefly reunited as Pat and Pran for a "Bad Buddy" special in the "Our Skyy 2" series. This special, which consisted of four episodes, was released in June and temporarily eased fans' concerns, albeit not for long.

GMM has announced the "Up & Above Part 1" conference, scheduled for October 17th, where the company will unveil their new series planned for 2024. Both Ohm and Nanon have confirmed their attendance at the event, allowing fans to see firsthand whether the duo has any plans to collaborate again in the near future.
