It'd Take Fans A Lot of Time to Recognize This Harry Potter Star Today
Mysterious thing, time.
It's been more than 15 years since Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire hit the big screen, so it's only natural that the actors who appeared in the movie have visibly changed.
However, when it comes to a certain Bulgarian Quidditch player, the change is so massive that we would never recognize him at first glance.
We're talking about Stanislav Ianevski, who played Viktor Krum in Goblet of Fire and briefly reprised the role in Deathly Hallows Part 1 in the deleted scenes. Well, now the actor looks like someone took Viktor Krum and decided he should look more like Henry Cavill or Tom Hardy.
Ianevski, now 37, didn't stop acting after his stellar role as Krum, appearing in films like 2011's Resistance and 2021's Last Man Down. Before appearing in Harry Potter, Ianevski had no particular aspirations as an actor and only attended the audition after being spotted by casting director Fiona Weir.
His Harry Potter character was in the spotlight in Goblet of Fire, being a Durmstrang champion in the Triwizard Tournament and Hermione's first boyfriend. The two are briefly reunited in Deathly Hallows: Part 1, but scenes of them having a small conversation at Bill and Fleur's wedding were cut from the film.

It's unclear if Ianevski has any new gigs lined up, but he is quite active on social media, constantly communicating with fans and sharing updates from his personal life.
