Is Luke Kleintank Being Phased Out of FBI: International?
Crisis averted! It turns out Kleintank's character wasn't being written off the show, he was just taking some time off... to change diapers.
Fans of the hit series FBI: International have been buzzing with rumors that the show's main character, Scott Forrester (played by Luke Kleintank), might be on his way out. After all, Forrester seemed like a major player in Season 1, but in Season 2 he's barely even been seen on screen.
There's nothing to worry about after all, however. FBI: International showrunner Derek Haas has come forward to set the record straight. According to Haas, Kleintank's limited appearance in the current season has nothing to do with his future on the show. Instead, it's simply because the actor is taking some well-deserved time off to spend with his newborn baby.
"Luke is an awesome guy and an awesome dad, and we planned his character's arc around the fact that he would want to take some time to be with his family," Haas told Give Me My Remote. "As a father myself, and as anyone who works at this company will attest, we're a big family; we're a family-friendly organization."
So, at least for now, it looks like Luke Kleintank isn't being phased out of FBI: International – he's just being a responsible parent. And according to Haas, the writers have big plans for Forrester's character in the future, so we can expect to see a lot more of Kleintank on our screens in the seasons to come.
Reactions from fans have been mixed, however.
"I'm just glad to know that Luke is still with the show," says one relieved viewer. "I was worried that his character was being sidelined for some reason."
Others, however, remain skeptical.
"I don't know, it just seems like the writers aren't really using Forrester to his full potential," says one disillusioned fan. "I hope they come up with some better storylines for him in the future."
Only time will tell how Forrester's story will play out, but for now, it looks like Luke Kleintank is here to stay.
