Did Thanos really destroy the Infinity Stones? Fans found the answer in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

While waiting for the new Avengers movie, fans keep finding hidden details that connect Marvel Cinematic Universe's projects.

Avengers: Kang Dynasty will be the fifth movie about the Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and is expected to be released in 2025.

One of the many variants of the main villain of the whole saga, Kang The Conqueror, was introduced in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and fans have found a cool detail in the movie that might lead us directly to none other than Thanos himself, the antagonist of the Infinity Saga.

In Quantumania Scott Lang (Ant-Man) and his daughter Cassie encounter a group of beings living in the Quantum Realm.

Interestingly, some of these creatures have stones in place of their heads, which bear an uncanny resemblance to the Infinity Stones we have witnessed before in MCU, featuring the same colors and luminescence as the original stones.

Remember when in Endgame the heroes searched for Thanos to recollect the stones to change everything back after Thanos' snapping his fingers caused half of all living beings in the universe to be exterminated?

When the Avengers caught Thanos off-guard, he confessed that he no longer possessed the Infinity Stones.

Specifically, he claimed the stones are "gone, reduced to atoms." The theory is that the reduction to atoms could mean the stones might end up in the Quantum Realm.

And apparently, those stones became conscious creatures in there somehow. We wonder what could possibly go wrong with that...

However, some fans argue that the notion of the creatures in the Quantum Realm being linked to the Infinity Stones is implausible, as the realm is smaller than atoms.

Furthermore, it seems improbable that the stones destroyed by Thanos would look just as smaller versions of the original stones.

Even though the theory is a bit far-fetched, it is still a good one. We've also seen the Infinity Stones appearing in Loki 's season 1 as paperweights in the TVA Office.

Even though it was hilarious, it hinted that the significance of the Infinity Stones might be different in each universe and timeline.

So, maybe those creatures from Quantumania are indeed somehow connected to the Infinity Stones.
