No one is completely sold on the idea of a strong ending, rather wishing for a good one.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is a dystopian action-adventure novel by American author Suzanne Collins, which is a spin-off and prequel to The Hunger Games trilogy.

The movie based on the book is scheduled for release in late 2023 and will be directed and produced by Francis Lawrence, who previously worked on Catching Fire, Mockingjay Part 1, and Mockingjay Part 2.

Needless to say, all fans of the franchise were thrilled with the news that another movie would be released when its production was finally confirmed.

However, the closer it gets to the actual release date, the more nervous audiences become about all the rumors that are surfacing.

Just like with other movies and shows, most of the news that comes out about the production comes from not 100% reliable sources, which makes them nothing but simple rumors.

However, the fanbase tends to believe reports from some accounts that have proven to be true in the past.

One such account recently shared a whole bunch of possible updates about the Hunger Games prequel that had fans really worried about how it would turn out.

The update given by the Twitter user DivinitySeeker1 provides several points which could make a huge difference to the movie.

According to the rumor, there are multiple music numbers, the opening scene is a prologue, and the last hour of the film seemed very slow and oddly paced.

Among many other concerns, such as the length of a movie, or a Donald Sutherland cameo, which promises to be too short, the rumor about the ending scene stands out especially.

"Nervous about what a "strong ending" could mean… I hope it's left open-ended," Redditor cheetomacandcheese shared their thoughts under the post with an update.

Clearly, their opinion resonated with many other fans, as the answer got the most upvotes and made its way to the top in the comment section.

While some fans continue to believe the information to be true, others are turning to other sources.

ViewerAnon and Daniel Richtman, for example, are said to prove this information to be false.

However, it seems very likely that the ending of the movie will be strong anyway, it is just a matter of which direction it takes its viewers.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is scheduled to be released worldwide on November 17, 2023. Stay tuned for more production and behind-the-scenes news.
