Someone still holds a little grudge up to this day.

The movie that birthed the iconic TV series, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, had Ben Affleck, then an aspiring young actor who just moved to Los Angeles, in a short scene.

This little scene, where Affleck portrayed a high-school basketball player, was very important for him at the time: after all, it was one of his very first jobs.

As Affleck revealed during his appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden, he only had one line in the movie, and he was pretty eager to finally hear it when he came to the premiere... only to receive an unpleasant surprise.

"[Apparently] I was so bad, they needed me to be in the scene, but the director obviously [was like]: 'I can't hear the voice again!'" Affleck revealed.

It turns out that his voice was removed from the movie, and the executives had to have someone come in, pay them, and re-record the line, because "apparently, [Affleck] could not say it convincingly enough."

Today, it's hard to believe that an actor like Affleck could have messed up the line so badly it needed an urgent re-recording session, but well, we all were beginners at some point in our lives.

If anything, Affleck learned his lesson very well.

These days, he is a renowned actor who is unlikely to have his lines removed from the final cut; unless, of course, it is something he desires.

With the estimated net worth of $150 million as of March 2023, Affleck is mostly known and loved around the world as Zack Snyder's Batman.

His other remarkable roles include those in Gone Girl, Shakespeare In Love, Argo, and Good Will Hunting.
