Two and a half years earlier, in the 13th episode of the show's first season, The Bat Jar Conjecture, Raj mentions "the girl who played TV's Blossom" in dialogue. It's not exactly a name mention, but those who watched TV in the 90s will remember Blossom Russo and the actress who portrayed her.

While it's probably not a plot hole, and in this on-screen universe, Blossom could have been played by literally anyone in the world, it's a fun coincidence.
