The actress seemingly stays out of the spotlight. Or does she?

Back in the 2000s, Jennifer Garner gained much recognition with ABC’s action hit Alias (2001–2006), later starring as Elektra in a number of Daredevil ’s superhero flicks.

Her name hasn’t been on everyone’s lips in recent years, and it might seem that the star has finished her acting career or now takes only small roles, living calmly with her family.

However, Garner is now only 52 (she was born on April 17, 1972), and it’s quite an early age for going into the shadows. In fact, the actress still participates in big-scale movie and TV projects, but we’ve just missed them.

The Juno actress is very much of a family comedy star, and if you want to watch something family-friendly with Garner, you should give a shot to her 2021 flick Yes Day, also starring Wednesday ’s Jenna Ortega, and 2023’s gem Family Switch.

In 2022, Garner reunited with her 13 Going on 30 co-star Mark Ruffalo for the 1980s-inspired sci-fi The Adam Project. The movie’s mix of action and comedy with retro science fiction was met with quite mixed reviews, but it’s still a must-watch.

As for the actress’ TV career, there are some new titles to binge. Firstly, back in 2023, she took part in the revival of Starz’ sitcom Party Down that follows a group of aspiring actors who work for a catering company, with Garner playing a failed producer.

That same year the actress also starred in Apple TV ’s thriller miniseries The Last Thing He Told Me, and it proved she truly belongs to the genre. The show was so successful it was even renewed for a second season, so let’s wait for the follow-up.

Where Is Jennifer Garner Now?

It may come as a great surprise, but you can see the actress reprising her role as Elektra in the MCU ’s Deadpool & Wolverine that is out now in theaters.

Let’s hope such a roaring return will make Garner participate in a larger number of projects, so that we’ll see our favorite 00s star on the big screen more often in the future.
