Isn’t he too old to be looking for love?

Even though Shondaland and Netflix 's Bridgerton is loosely based on Julia Quinn's book series of the same name, the show has proven that it's not afraid of change. It has already changed the order in which the siblings will find love, moved Colin's story ahead of Benedict's, the backgrounds of some key characters, and even the main love interests.

Keeping track of the show's versions of the Bridgerton siblings can be difficult, especially since each season lasts about 2 years. How long will Benedict Bridgerton be when his season starts? And what about the other siblings? Let's find out.

How Old Are Bridgerton Siblings?

In the show, we were only given glimpses of the characters' ages and had to figure out the rest for ourselves. However, Julia Quinn has given some ages in her books, so they may help to establish the truth.

Anthony, the eldest of the Bridgerton siblings, was 29 years old in season 2, as he mentioned his age on screen at Lady Danbury's house. This would make the viscount about 30-31 years old in seasons 3 and 4, since we can assume that season 4 starts not too much later than the end of season 3.

Colin Bridgerton, the third son, also had his age mentioned on screen in season 1. He was 22 then, which would make him 24 during his own season 3 and 24-25 for season 4. This brings us to the age of the 4th season's main character, Benedict Bridgerton, who was never mentioned on screen, but was mentioned in the books.

Benedict starts the books at 27, which would make him 27 in the first season and 29-30 in the fourth. This would make him only one year younger than Anthony, which makes sense since both Jonathan Bailey and Luke Thompson, who play the oldest Bridgerton brothers, are the same age.

As for the younger siblings, Daphne's age in the book is 21, but the show suggests that the girls are younger when they are presented to the Queen. This would make her 18 at the time of her debut and 21-22 during season 4. Eloise was presented a year later, at 19, so she would be about 20-21, and Francesca would be a year younger, at 19-20.

The youngest siblings, Gregory and Hyacinth, are both far too young to think about marriage, but we have their estimated ages. Hyacinth, who was born around the time Lord Edmund Bridgerton died, would be 10 in season 2, which would make her 11-12 in season 4. And her partner in crime Gregory will be 14-15 when the new season comes out.
