Hotly anticipated HBO Max series is taking its viewers back into the 'Game of Thrones ' fantasy world, full of political intrigue, scheming, betrayal, and, of course, dragons. Set 200 years prior to the events of the 'Game of Thrones', the prequel is centered around the House Targaryen civil war and follows the plot of George R. R. Martin's novel Fire & Blood quite closely – not surprising, considering that the writer himself took part in adapting the storyline for the small screen. 'House of the Dragon' is set to premiere on HBO Max streaming service on Sunday, August 21.
