Wenclair is the name of the Netflix's Wednesday biggest ship; a relationship between Wednesday Addams and Enid Sinclair, two leading characters in the series.

Emma Myers, who plays Enid in Wednesday, knows exactly what she's doing to Wenclair viewers when she drops her hints.

When Wednesday made waves online after its November 23 premiere, fans went crazy over how much they wanted two particular students from Nevermore to get together. Myers is well aware of Wenclair's fans, especially their frustration that Wednesday and Enid were not really made canon after all in the first season of the show.

Well, the actress has a pretty straightforward message for those fans.

"You know what I always say: And they were roommates," Myers told Elite Daily. "Jenna and I would say that all the time to each other. And that's all that needs to be said — I think that gets the message across."

This did indeed get the message across, and Wenclair viewers immediately took Myers' words as a hint that all was not over for their favorite show couple. Fans loved that Myers and Ortega apparently "know that Wednesday and Enid are queercoded," although some people are upset that there was no actual representation instead of queercoding.

At first, Wednesday and Enid were not overly fond of each other and had trouble coming to terms with how different they were. While Enid is a splash of color, Wednesday is a walking black and white Instagram filter; she's also "not a hugger," which Enid had a hard time learning. However, as the two bonded over time, Wednesday clearly reversed the no-hugging policy and became more protective of Enid.

Many fans argue that "all signs" point to a slowburn rather than just queercoding. For now, though, people will just have to keep watching, editing, and writing fanfics about their favorite couple - which they are doing with great enthusiasm.

Netflix has yet to confirm whether Wednesday will be renewed for another season, but the fandom is already confident that Tim Burton's project has a bright future ahead of it.
