Here's How X-Men Might Be Introduced Into MCU
Now that a new Marvel era is looming, there is a theory that might make the transition a bit smoother.

With 'Ms. Marvel' finale explicitly hinting at the introduction of mutants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans are craving for more details – even if they need to come up with theories to make up for the lack of the official information.
So, how would the MCU introduce X-Men, if the big "mutant" reveal of 'Ms. Marvel' does mean that X-Men are coming? A Reddit theory has broken down a possible path for mutants to become part of the MCU.
According to the theory, the best way to smoothly slide X-Men into the MCU would be to simply teleport the iconic mutants and villains through the multiverse. This way, Marvel won't need to spend too much time by explaining their origin and situate them in the new universe.
Besides, the multiverse twist would be the easiest way to explain why mutants are even in the MCU in the first place. 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' has already established enough tools that would allow to transfer mutants to the MCU, so Marvel can essentially do what they want provided they have the rights for the characters.
In 'Ms. Marvel' finale, Kamala appears to be confirmed as the MCU's first mutant, with Bruno Carrelli telling her that there is something special about her genes, "some kind of mutation". As he spoke, a music cue from X-Men '97 could be heard in the background – a hint clear enough to have fans buzzing online about the possibility of an entire new concept in the MCU.
Kamala's origins might be further explored in 'The Marvels ', with the movie due to hit theatres in July 2023. The film could potentially offer more details on the role of mutants in the MCU. However, the studio has not officially confirmed that any X-Men-related project is currently in the works.
