Here's How 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Will Cross Paths With 'Eternals'
In the first 'Guardians of the Galaxy' movie directed by James Gunn, it was outlined that a celestial named Eson was in possession of the Power Stone – one of the Infinity Stones.
Guardians of the Galaxy and the Eternals are set to engage in an epic crossover – not on screen, but rather in Disney World park's new attraction.
In the first Epcot roller coaster, the two Marvel series will get together in a fun mix, with the ride's central heroes set to confront Eson – one of the villain celestials from the 'Eternals' universe.
As teased by Marvel, Eson will attempt "to right a wrong in a big way" throughout the ride, with Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot teaming up to prevent him from going that very "big way".
In Marvel canon, the Guardians have never directly engaged in a conflict with Eson, but in the first James Gunn- directed movie the group learns that the celestial got his hands on one of the Infinity Stones, the Power Stone.
Now, it seems that the visitors of Disney World will be able to immerse themselves into what is described as a "story coaster". It is also touted as the longest enclosed coaster in the world, potentially opening up the possibilities for the visitors to become a part of an adventure that is almost as massive and exciting as the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' movies.
The coaster is set to open on May 27 at the Walt Disney World Resort.
