Say what you will about J.K. Rowling, but there's one thing no one can take away from her - she's a truly talented writer. Creating a world as intricate as Harry Potter's is no small task, and she has done it beautifully, making tens of millions of people fall in love with Hogwarts and its wizards.
However, Rowling still made a number of mistakes while creating the Harry Potter universe, some of which still haunt fans of her work.

While some of the plot holes mentioned above will obviously only bother the most loyal Harry Potter fans, as they are a bit too obscure for general audiences to care about, at least one of them calls into question Rowling's status as a master world-builder - why didn't Voldemort use the Unbreakable Vow on the Death Eaters?
The fact that he didn't sound a little too silly for such a masterful villain, and actually threatens the fans' immersion in the Harry Potter world.
However, while the number of plot holes in the books is certainly a bit alarming, the universal love for Harry Potter isn't going anywhere anytime soon. If people still love the saga despite the author's hurtful comments, a bunch of plot holes isn't going to take that away, is it?
