When you spend so much time in an extremely extravagant image with certain "accessories," it's hard to just let go.

The Harry Potter universe is arguably one of the most magical ones, filled with so many creatures and actual objects that were physically invented for the films. Watching the movies, it was almost impossible to understand where the reality ends and the magic starts.

You sort of become part of the movie, but then you realize that you are just sitting on the sofa with the remote control in your hand, pretending it is the wand.

Well, it might make you feel better to know that when the Harry Potter saga was finished filming, the actors were not exactly allowed to snatch every single magic prop from the set for memories.

Tom Felton, who (as we all know) brilliantly played the role of a villainous child Draco Malfoy, made sure that his character grew into a young, complex character with his own beliefs and power.

When asked in an interview with Cherry Wallis what he "stole" from the set, he gave a devastating answer. Apparently there was a rule that they couldn't take the props.

“Anyway, they’re putting those in museums, which is probably a better place than on my bedroom wall. I wanted to get a wand — we all wanted our wands — but those are on lock down,” Felton said.

Well, there actually seems to be a reason for that. As the actor later explained, there weren't as many wands as fans might think. Each character had one real wand, and the rest were just foam.

So we guess there was no need to take the fake ones home. But the real ones are now back where they belong, and everyone can see them in the Harry Potter Museum at Warner. Bros. Studio.

Felton also mentioned that he wanted to keep Draco’s suit because he “looked very sharp in it.” But still he managed to save a Slytherin ring. And that’s a great catch!
