Harry Potter Movies Star Eager to Return in TV Series Adaptation as Hogwarts Professor
We're already used to fans' debates about the new Harry Potter reboot, but some original movie stars join in, too… And they want to get back in action!
With the news of the upcoming MAX Harry Potter series, the discussion is going non-stop: some people hate it, some people love it, and some want to return to the franchise and star as a different character than they had the previous time.
We've learned that at least one of the movie stars wants to return to the Wizarding World.
In the original movies, Natalia Tena played the character of Nymphadora Tonks — a Metamorphmagus, a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and Remus Lupin 's wife.
Despite having a few funny scenes, the movie Tonks got just a fracture of the spotlight she had in the books, and this was rather upsetting for Harry Potter fans.
Still, Tonks has always been one of the most beloved Order of the Phoenix members, and Natalia Tena did a great job at portraying her in those tiny windows she had in the movies.
Other than playing don't-call-me-Nymphadora, Natalia's had many other great roles, and many people may remember her from Game of Thrones.
Natalia revealed that at first, she wasn't happy with the news about the TV series adaptation, but that quickly changed. Now, she's eager to come back to the Wizarding World and play a different character if she gets a chance!
"I got really excited about it. And then I was like, ''Do you think I'm old enough now to play one of the teachers? How can I get another gig on this amazing project?' So, I'm definitely putting that to my agent," shared the actress.
It would definitely be great to see Natalia in the upcoming interpretation of Harry Potter, and to be honest — we'd be happy to see more actors from the original movies have a cameo there.
While some may think it would become confusing, we're convinced that the tiny drop of nostalgia has never killed anyone!
So good luck to Natalia Tena in finding her way back to the Hogwarts castle. We'll be waiting.
