Harry Potter but Directed by Christopher Nolan? Yes Please
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is already close to perfect (all thanks to Chris Columbus), but AI begs to differ.
One YouTube user, Yellow Medusa, played around with Midjourney and reimagined the first installment of the Harry Potter saga as a Christopher Nolan movie, adding an enigmatic spin on the well-known story.
According to this scenario, the film would begin with a flashforward showing Hogwarts in flames and Voldemort getting ready to Avada Kedavra Harry. Sounds very Nolan-esque already. Good job, Midjourney!
Then the movie would cut to the present time where Dumbledore is calmly (we know he is good at keeping calm) explaining to Harry what the Philosopher's Stone is.
By the way, the Headmaster of Hogwarts in Nolan's adaptation would be played by Sir Michael Caine (and honestly, it's perfect casting!).
Dumbledore would tell Harry that the Philosopher's Stone is essentially time itself, and anyone who uses it can manipulate it in any direction, anywhere, anytime.
The plot twist? Harry would have to travel back in time to get his hands on the Philosopher's Stone before Voldemort does.
Of course, he wouldn't be doing all that alone – Ron and Hermione would be by his side. Dumbledore and Snape (portrayed by Cillian Murphy ) would give them a Time-Turner, a device that is not as powerful as the Philosopher's Stone but good enough, and the Golden Trio would attempt to jump back in time and stop the Dark Lord.
After defeating Voldemort, Harry would end up back at the Dursleys' home at a point in time before he is supposed to receive his Hogwarts letter. He would be the only one to remember the events of the great battle.
The user hilariously adds that Nolan's Harry Potter would be just like any other of his films – overly complicated, expensive, and visual.
The viewers would need to watch the movie at least twice to get an idea of what is going on there, so it definitely wouldn't be a kids' film anymore.
We don't know about you, but we feel like Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is pretty close to Midjourney's idea of Nolan's Harry Potter. Coincidence?
