No magic involved, just talent and major success.

Considering the success the Harry Potter franchise has had and continues to have around the world, it's easy to understand the amount of money involved.

Now that another adaptation has been announced by HBO, it's time to take a look back at the famous movies and the road to success that the actors took.

Of course, ever since the news broke that the adaptation was in production, every Harry Potter fan was beyond excited to meet the actors who would be portraying their favorite trio.

Daniel Radcliffe would be making his acting debut as Harry Potter, Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, and Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley.

Little did they know how much these roles would affect their future careers...and their bank accounts.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was a road to success, but not as well-paid as you might think.

According to Parade, Daniel Radcliffe was the only one of the three young stars to be paid $1 million for the movie, for establishing the main character of the franchise.

It is safe to assume that both Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were paid a little less than that.

The salaries continued to rise over the years as the franchise grew and became internationally successful. The young actors had many opportunities ahead of them, but most of them had to be dedicated to Harry Potter.

This dedication was fairly rewarded as the actors' salaries increased with each film.

For the last two installments, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, released in 2010 and 2011, Daniel Radcliffe was paid $50 million.

That would be 25 times more than his first paycheck, which is fair since there is no other Harry Potter like him. Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, Harry Potter's constant best friends, also got a raise, earning around $30 million for both films.

Whether or not HBO will be able to repeat the success and boost the careers of other young actors, we'll have to wait and see.

For now, you can rewatch all Harry Potter movies on MAX, Peacock, or FuboTV.
