Harrison Ford Went Off on Set of His Last Indiana Jones Movie: 'Leave Me the F*ck Alone!'
Ford has always had quite the character, and the situation didn't improve with time: the actor raged on his colleagues for… Trying to help him with a scene!
Harrison Ford 's new Indiana Jones installment, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, is famously coming out later this month.
It's the last movie of the franchise featuring the actor — at least, according to his current statements. Harrison Ford's never been known as a reliable source about the future of this franchise of his.
The 80-year-old actor is a legend, and not just for his immense talent on the set. Ford is also known for his wild temper and swift decisions when he's angry, and his reputation has been keeping his colleagues on alert for many years now.
As it turns out, this in itself is enough to piss Harrison off, as his stuntmen recently found out.
Throughout his career, Harrison Ford's been known to perform most of his stunts himself, which very few actors can brag about.
As time passed, Ford surely became more fragile, and became notorious for another feat, too: as the actor put it himself, he is "also known for shutting movies down because he gets hurt."
This is the exact scenario Harrison's fellow stuntmen tried to prevent after one of the scenes on the set of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny: Ford hurting himself and delaying the movie's release for another few months.
Ultimately, this led to the actor going off at them and later telling this story himself in one of his recent interviews.
As Harrison finished shooting the scene where he's riding a horse on a subway platform, he began getting off the saddle — and suddenly felt hands on his legs.
"I thought, 'What the f**k?' Like I was being attacked by gropers. I look down and there's three stunt guys there making sure I didn't fall off the stirrup.
They said, 'Oh, we were just afraid because we thought, you know,' and blah-blah-blah. And I said, 'Leave me the f**k alone! I'm an old man getting off a horse and I want it to look like that,'" passionately shared the actor.
Admittedly, there was nothing inherently wrong with trying to help the 80-year-old colleague get down from his horse — but for Harrison, this was obviously an insult of sorts.
Later, Ford himself claimed that the stuntmen were likely worried about him injuring his leg or something… Which would've inevitably led to more delays.
Since the movie's coming out later this June, the actor was clearly saved from more trauma on the set.
But just in case, remember: if you ever come across Harrison Ford riding a horse, don't try to help the man — unless you want to be told to f*ck right off, that is.
