Earlier this week, Bruce Willis' family announced that he's "stepping away" from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that impacts a person’s ability to speak and understand language. Today, Haley Joel Osment, who worked with Willis in ‘The Sixth Sense’, posted a sweet tribute to him on Instagram.

Years ago, when rumours stating that Willis was “difficult” to work with began to surface, Osment had nothing to say but nice things about his grown-up co-star.

Now Joel Osment calls Willis a “true legend” and says that working with him was a “wild stroke of luck”. Here is the full statement:

M. Night Shyamalan who directed Bruce Willis not only in ‘The Sixth Sense’, but also in ‘Unbreakable’ and ‘Glass’, also paid tribute to the actor after sad news. In his tweet Shyamalan calls Willis his “big brother’, stating that the actor will always be his hero on the poster from his childhood.
