The question is, what audience was that supposed to be for?

Thanks to Marvel, DC and other superhero setups, the trend of countless crossovers was born.

While some of them are quite epic, with characters actually living in the same universe and adding to each other's stories, others are just very questionable and leave fans confused.

If you think you've seen all the weirdest takes on crossovers and multiverse on the internet, think again, because there's one that will blow your mind.

Have you ever thought about what would happen if you put both Tyrion and Cersei Lannister together with... Elmo from Sesame Street?

Well, if anything comes to mind, it would be a lesson in respect, which the Lannisters are notoriously lacking.

The episode was released on Sesame Street's official YouTube channel as part of their 50th anniversary campaign Respect Brings Us Together, which was run to highlight the importance of respecting each other even when we disagree.

While the message behind it is tremendously important, fans are still shocked at the choice of characters to do it.

If there is one show that should be carefully hidden from children around the world, it is Game of Thrones. With numerous scenes of nudity, violence, torture and straight-up gore, this show is sometimes too much even for adults to handle.

For the impressionable minds of young children, who usually watch Sesame Street, this would be twice as bad.

The only hope Game of Thrones fans have for the existence of the clip is that it was more of a nod to parents than a promotion of the show to children.

However, Sesame Street did get some backlash for this, as the comments under the video posted years ago still appear to be turned off to this day.

If you want to re-watch Game of Thrones and learn some more important life lessons about politics, family and war, you can stream the show on MAX, Hulu or Amazon Prime Video.
