Gollum Reimagined as Avatar Character Will Have You Scarred for Life
If you had nightmares about Gollum as a child, get ready to have them again.
In fandoms, people have often fantasized about certain crossovers and toyed with the idea of alternate dimensions and multiverse. In this sense, almost nothing is impossible: there are no " unmatchable" universes and no impossible variants.
That is why we decided to combine two great cinematic universes: Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings and James Cameron 's Avatar. Using the Midjourney AI, we decided to go for the creepiest combination possible: Gollum, but as an Avatar.
Well, let's just say we made Pandora a little less precious.
Maybe there is such a creature roaming Pandora, obsessed with unobtanium and ready to rip apart anyone who dares to lay a hand on it. In that case, "Gollum" would be useful in the first Avatar movie, helping the Na'vi withstand the onslaught of unwanted visitors from Earth.
With Midjourney, AI art can often go from interesting and intriguing to creepy and disturbing. To be fair, Gollum was already too terrifying for us to hope that a sprinkling of the Avatar universe would make him any less intimidating.
Now that the Avatar sequel has grossed over $2 billion worldwide, this twisted version of Gollum might want to learn how to live underwater. But do we really want to know what the aquatic version of this creature looks like?
Yeah, we thought so.
