Gold Rush Fans Are Ready To Boot One Cast Member From The Show
It's no secret that Gold Rush, a Discovery reality show that follows crews mining the placer gold, has seen a number of cast members come and go over the staggering 13 seasons.
Some of them are adored by the audience, while others not so much. But one thing's for sure – fans of the show are not ones to shy away from sharing their opinions on all the members online, especially criticism. And while there may be quite a few candidates in the running for the title of the most disliked cast member, there's one person in particular that fans are ready to boot from the show.
It is none other than Dave Turin.

Turin was an original member of the show's cast when it debuted back in 2010. After being a guest star and eventually coming on board full-time, Turin joined forces with the Hoffman crew and appeared on the show until the seventh season.
However, he made a famously dramatic exit back in 2017 and the reason behind his departure was a conflict with a fellow miner, Trey Poulson, that escalated into a physical altercation. But his career didn't end there, as it wasn't long until his own spin-off show, Gold Rush: Dave Turin's Lost Mine, was launched.
Turin recently made a reappearance in the main Gold Rush series, and this caused quite an uproar among the fans. The reason for this negative reaction is that they find him arrogant, adding that being surrounded by Hoffman was what made him look better and more likable than when he was on his own. Some were so unhappy with his return that they said they'd rather watch anything else than him.
But it looks like fans might not need to wait very long to see Turin leave the series. As it turns out, his return may, in fact, be brief as Turin himself revealed to Idaho Press that he's scaling back when it comes to mining, as his body is not doing the best and mining is "very grueling."
That said, some fans are questioning his retirement announcement because they don't believe he can afford to quit for good, as they think his finances don't seem to add up with the money he has spent on unprofitable mining locations.
Regardless of the outcome, it's clear where fans stand on his presence on the show. But will Turin be able to win them over? We'll just have to wait and see.
